Researching Cold Lighting

Baby it's cold outside...

 For two of our elements, I want to portray the cold, one being the freezer, the other being the cold, bleak day that the ice cream man is living in. To achieve this effect I've looked into what colours and styles would make the right look for the video and one thing is clear. Blues and greys are the colours we need to work with. Smoke also adds to the look, as it creates a 'frozen air' visual. This should be fairly simple to achieve and so I aim to include it within our sets.
