How Will Our Actors Look?

Costume hair and makeup are incredibly important for our video to fit the right vibe. As an 80s style video, we will have to follow the conventions of 80s music videos, in terms of all the factors of Mise en Scene.  

The hair is constantly 'poofed' and heavily back-lit to create and almost halo like look. I hope to recreate this look with curled hair for our dancers who will also be back-lit by our hanging roof lights. For make up I want bright pink lipstick, which not only conforms with the 80s style, but also adds to the candy-land image we hope to show. Along with this we want heavy eyeliner and heavy blue eyeshadow to create a classic blonde babes look.

For our lead singer, glasses are a necessity. If theres one thing that screams 80s more than any other accessory its the dark shades. These will come in when the ice cream man's imagination is flowing in full force.
