Task 1 - First Music Video Idea

Developing 3 Ideas For Music Videos...

The first song I'd like to make a video for is 'Trip Switch' by Nothing But Thieves.
Here's the existing video...

Nothing But Thieves are one of many large English rock bands blowing up in recent years alongside bands such as Slaves, Royal Blood and Foals.

The narrative in the video I want to make depicts a young boy, who at first is caring for his mother. He wears all black streetwear, and as he leaves he puts on another black jacket on and grabs a paper bag before leaving the house. Whilst walking down the street he notices the aggression within his surroundings; a dog growling, cars beeping, people arguing etc. Having seen this he walks faster and with more determination. Now we see that he has a gun within the paper bag, which he nervously checks before hiding under his arm. When he looks up from the bag we see a corner store. The rest of the video plays out with the boy robbing the store of its money, some teabags, and running home to put the kettle on.
The second part to this video would be a band performance. In my head I picture the exact same performance in two opposite settings of black and white, with the band members wearing the opposite colour to their surroundings. This would switch back and forth quickly to the beat of the song, as if someone was 'switching' the light on and off in the studio.
Stylistically I took part of my inspiration from this music video below for the song What Went Down by Foals, a similar band. I really want the level of intensity and aggression to be made clear.

The point behind the video is that people judge for actions others make when they don't know the reason why they did it. I want lots of closeups of shocked or angry witnesses, not all necessarily humans (a growling dog for example) to portray a sense of general aggression from the surroundings.
